Hi,
We have a problem related to CATS, I would be grateful for help.
We are working with CATS and cproject (distribute scenario).
We enter in CAT2and see in worklist our tasks and can enter our real hours ( they don“t need approval) .Then we go to CATA and tranfer these hours to CO and HR. Housr are transfered correctly but table DPR_CONF_LI is not updated.
Anyone knows what could be the problem ? really we think ALE conexions are correct but I am not sure how to check it.
Thanks in advance or your help,
Sara

Hello!!
I have found my problem ( but I have not found how to solve it yet) . The worklist shows the task assigned to this personnel number ( shows, receiver WBS, project and subobject) when hours are entered 2 lines appears in worklist realted with the same WBS receiver ( the new line has not filled project and subobject field). The system understand that personnel number in erp is the same as BP en cproject and it understand that task is assigned to WBS element but when hour are entered doesn't understand than this WBS is a task.
Please, any idea why WBS is not being related to cproject task ?
Thanks in advance!!

Hi Niranjan,
In what moment should iDOC be generated? ( when hours are entered in CAT2 or when hours are transfered to CO in CATA)? In my case no approval exist.
I have activate trace and RFC exist in CAT2 but not in CATA.
Thanks again for your help!!!!

Sorry, I was wrong, really no IDOCS has been generated during CATA process in ERP ( the idocs I found was generated for another thing). Then i suppose we have an error in ALE conexion.. but we don`t found the problem ( Is there any way to check this conexion?)
Thanks again,
Sara

Hi
thr is no linkage between CATA and ALE
Check your ALE and confirm with basis if you have maintained both way communication, if you are getting Task/role of cProjects in CAT2 then chances are more of one way ALE setting being correct
For more info, I have found out a note: 954860
check it

Hi Niranjan,
I think you are right and it should be a problem with ALE conexions, I checked BD87 transaction and all the idocs related to CATS were in status 30 -->IDoc ready for dispatch (ALE service), but I have executed IDOC and status have changed to 03 ( date passed to port OK) but not to status 53 Application document posted. And DPR_CONF_LI is still empty. I'll try to find out why status idoc is different from 53 with a basis guy.
No, hours don“t need to be approved.
Thank you very much for your help, It is being very useful!!!!

Hi Niranjan,
Thank you for your help, but when report DPR_CATS_CPR_TRANSF is executed in cproject any information is retrieved, I think ( I am not sure if I am wrong) information is retrieved from DPR_CONF_LI but this table is empty and I think It should be filled when I transfer hours to CO (CATA transaction).
Any other idea?
Thanks,
Sara

Hi
Both of you need to run DPR_CATS_CPR_TRANSF report for transferring data from CATS to cProjects confirmations
Niranjan
Let me know if it helps!
Im sure about this
