Document Type Wise Authorization

Hello Experts,

Need help to maintain authorization based on File Type in DMS.

We have configured SAP DMS, we do use CV01N to Upload Document for particular Material. User can view this uploaded document using MM03 > Additional Data.

Can we allo user to access only PDF Document to view, because we are maintaing 2-3 File type againset one material (*.dwg,*.cdr, *.pdf)

Please suggest.

Hi,

if you need information on authorization object it is always a good start to create an authorization trace by using transaction ST01 or STAUTHTRACE for example.

In its result you can see which objects are verified and what parameters are used.
