Display Alternate items in the POD

Hi,

My customer expectation to use alternate material during SFC execution without modifying the ERP BOM.

I found that, in Material maintenance we can maintain the Alternate items in SAP ME and same thing i have done it.

Now, while checking in the POD (assembly point) i couldn't find the alternate items to be selected!!!.

Did i miss something or my understanding something wrong??
