Disabling the the overwrite the current version option in cFolders

Hi,

Can we disable the 'overwrite the Current version' functionality of Document check in option during the modification of the Document in cfolders? We want to keep only 'Create a New version' and disable the Overwrite the current version ' in during the Document modification in cFolders.

Hi Ramesh,

this is possible with the help of the status management. You have the possibility to set the indicator 'Protected Version' for a a status, once this indicator is set and the status (status profile) is assigned to the document, a new version will be automatically created when you save any changes in a document. Overwriting a version is therefore no longer possible.
