DG checks area handled via DG check schema which are in turn assigned to the doc category and doc type. So depending on the document type assignment respective check is activated.
Unless stocks are transferred within the same premises, DG check is needed for all movement of DG Materials.
You need to physciall mention whether DG Checks or DG Documents are needed for the material, based on which system activates or generates necessary checks
DG check activation can be done by assigning the check method types to the function modules during IMG activity.
It depends on how you customize whether you need to get a DG check during internal PO creation or not. DG check assignment can be done through IMG> EHS>DG checks and DG documents >Specify date for determination of DG master data. Prior to this you have to complete the other dependencies.
