Deletion of Selective Template

Dear Experts,

As we know, we can delete the template from CG42 and then to delete it permanently we delete it via MCDOKDEL program.

Now, when we run the MCDOKDEL then it will show you all the deleted templates deleted by you and all other user.

if MCDOKDEL shows a list of say 15 templates and i wish to delete only 4 templates out of that list. can we do that? if yes how?

Hi Amol,

Balajee is right, the standard report MCDOKDEL is an all-or-nothing option. If you want to select the templates to be deleted you need to do some development.

Hi Ralph,

I have the same understanding. I was aware that, there is no as such option but thought of re-confirming my knowledge in this expert forum.

But I feel, some time in future, SAP should provide this option in MCDOKDEL as technically it doesn't seems to be complex...which will give flexibility to delete our own templates or selective templates and not all

As these templates are already deleted, There is no such further selection possible to select and delete.

Hi Amol

there is no such kind of option in standard "MCDOKDEL" programme , but here by using "Test" field we can view the reports which are going to be deleted.

for getting list screen , we may go for customization.
