Delete a role in an existing Project

Hello,

I would like to know what could be the consequences when we delete a role  in an existing project ? Will the plan and actual from the past will be change from systems ?

Ex- If there is a existing project with some roles in cProject and some recourse are assigned to these roles... If i delete these roles will there be any change in Plan and Actual value?

and will the budget for that project change?

Hi Roshan,

Deletion of Role has no impact on cost or budget values. There is no link between the financial planning views in PPM and Roles.

These two are separate stuff.

You can delete or modify an existing role on an existing project.
