Hello,
Is there a way to default the layout for a particular issue type?
In our example, we are using an issue type to record "Lessons Learned".
But for our lessons learned we do not want to show the "Impact and Proposed Solution" fields as they are not applicable.
Thanks
Janet

There is some configuration around this.
Look in CPM config, and under Define Issue and change Request Types, goto Code Groups.
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
The Text Type under Code Group config controls the text boxes at the top of the Issue. It is crude control of the screen.
CPM PICM is built on IAM (Issue and Activity Management), this is also used for SAP Quality Management. That is where the configuration originates if you have to do some development.
The CPM screens are built on WebDynpro and Floorplan Manager which makes customizing the screens fairly easy. There is a way to enter Administrator mode on a screen and make changes. I'm not sure if you can make the screen layout dependent on the Issue Type. Please consult a developer on how to activate Admin mode and if context dependent screens can be configured.
