Date of Manufacture in batch master

Hello Expert,

We have come across an issue related to ATP check and found root cause by referring CO09 we can fix ATP issue. Now question here business would like to identify BBD date discrepancy between Packaging batch with its corresponding bulk batch so is there any tcode or report exist to find out such discrepancy ?

Reason being is that before performing manual ATP check business would like to ensure both material types batches BBD date. As we have development at batch master is BBD from bulk batch get copied to packaging batch (FG batch) based upon FG process order save. which means FG batch BBD will be same like bulk batch BBD.

I will be greatful if anybody can share expertise here.

Thanks,

Mayur

It sounds like basically you want a way to compare the SLED of the bulk to the sled of the fin. What you don't indicate is if this is a one time mass check or if this an ongoing requirement. I.e. when ever we approve a batch we want to make that check.

There is no standard SAP way to do that.

But if you use the batch where used list, (MB56) you can run that for your fin product. There is user enhancement available for the batch where used report that allows you to add additional field to the report. You can add the SLED date to the report via that enhancement. Then before approving the FIN product, MB56 is run for the FIN. The BWU list will then show all the "stuff" that went into that batch along with the SLED's. If you know what level of production the bulk is maded you can limit the report to the last 3 level's, or 2, or 4, or whatever is appropriate.

The other way is have the batch derivation process update the SLED at time of a UD on the FIN. Then you know it was correct at least at that point in time.
