Hi,
After filling the Dangerous Goods Master by using the transaction DGE5 - Start Filling (Dangerous Goods Master Filling).
1. All fields are filled in the dangerous goods master, but all the materials are Not Permitted for Transport. Even when it has been set to Permitted within the Specification Workbench.
--
I can imagine, that this is an extra safety check. Is it possible to remove the check (if it is a check) and fill the data exactly as is defined within the specification workbench.
2. The warning message 'Regulation status is not release status' appears. How can I release the regulation before filling (within the specification workbench)?
Thank you in advance.
Kind regards,
Roy

Hi Roy,
During the time when the data is sent, the exceptions to dangerous goods regulations are locked and no changes can be made. The reasons may be
● If an exception to dangerous goods regulations cannot be found in the target systems, the system creates the exception with the key that was transferred from the source system.
● If an exception to dangerous goods regulations exists in the target system, then the system overwrites its data with the current data.
Choose CA - Cross-Application Components. The IDoc Interface - IDoc Interface / Electronic Data Interchange.
● The ALE distribution also considers exceptions that were not changed since the last distribution, that is, the system always performs an "initial distribution."
● During ALE distribution of exceptions to dangerous goods regulations, all existing exceptions in the source system are considered, as soon as they are released once for use.
● During distribution, the system considers exceptions, for which the block indicator is set, if the exceptions were already distributed. (The block indicator is evaluated, as well as the indicator for whether the exception was already distributed.)
within the specification work bench, u may reverify the attributes of DG Regulations of the host country for the goods uploaded.
regards,
mahesh.

Dear Mahesh,
Thank you for the reply.
We do not make use of an external system. The data is send from the specification workbench to the dangerous goods master within the same SAP system.
I think I wrote my message a bit unclear. Within the specification workbench and dangerous goods master there is a field named: Transponrt Not Permitted, Meaning: Specifies that dangerous goods cannot be shipped using the specified mode of transport.
After filling the data from the specification workbench to the dangerous goods master, the field 'Transport Not Permitted' is selected for the relevant material, even if I maintained it differently in the specification workbench. Is there a configuration setting, where I can make sure this field is filled correctly as well.
Charataristic - Specification Workbench:
SAP_EHS_1022_024_DGTNA
Field - Dangerous Goods Master
(DGTNA)
Thank you in advance,
Roy Derks
Hi Roy,
I understand that the data u r feeding for specification bench need to be assigned with specific DG regulations, which is mandatory field irrespective of its further application, though it is uploading of master data, specific regulations need to be assigned. U may try once with transfer of the compiled data dulu assigning D.G. regulations of native country or the regulations of the shipment consigned any in future.
thanks
mahesh
