Dangerous Checks - No countries and no mode of transport category could be determined

I was not able to select any route in sales order to resolve above Issue .

Hi Krishna,

Sorry, I couldn't understand when you say " I was not able to select any route in the sales order".

Do you mean that there is no route available to select when you save the sales order?  Or do you mean the above error pops up even if you have entered the route?

Please check the following is available in your Sales Order:

1) Go to VA02 and the enter the sales order

2) Choose the line item, and click on Line Item Details

3) Go to the shipping tab and do an F4 on Route and choose a route.

If the route is not available to be selected,  it means that your system hasn't be configured for Route Determination which is done by the SAP SD Consultant.

Please note that Dangerous Goods module is integrated with SAP SD and requires the below basic when a Sales Order is created.

• Shipping point
• Sales organization
• Order type
• Ship-to party
• Route
• SD document date

Dear Krishna

basis of the "DG check process" is some set up in SAP SD. On the top using route and other data the system tries to identify this (high level)

a.) which countries are effected?

b.) the relation between country and validity area?

c.) based on the validity area etc. the effected transport regulations are found (e.g. ADR, IATA etc.)

d.) and then based on SAP SD information the "effected" modes of transport are determined.
