Custom option in Document context menu

Hello ,

I was trying to add custom option in context menu of ECTR Document as per wiki

https://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/display/PLM/How+to+change+the+menus+or+toolbars+of+ECTR

However if i add my option in ? DOC_DOC of menu_macros.txt file,

it gives me error while starting ECTR , file contains illegal tab.

please help.

I did maintain customer.txt and apl xml for defining other details

Hello,

please aware this sentence from menu.guidef:

"Since the processing program uses the character count to determine the indentation, you MAY NOT USE TABS in this file, because this will result in different character count although the "=" signs appear to be aligned."

For editing menu_macros.txt and menu.guidef, it is better to use some editor which can show you special characters like tabs, so you can see if you accidentally added tabs instead of spaces.

Thank you Waldemar, I was not showing all the characters thanks.

Also I had to update file in add on folder.

And its all working perfect now.
