Hi @all,
we are using CRM but want to perfom DG checks in the SAP backend system.
Does anybody has experienced problems eg due to not existing or not released DG masters and automatic system actions?
I know, this sounds very vage - but we really don“t know whether there will be any problem at all.

I did not really catch your requirement. If you have a SAP EH&S system with the DG master data record prepraed you can prepare an ALE to other systems. I am not sure how you would like to uise the DG master in a CRM system (which subprocess you are thinking about?)
Automatic reaction: In SAP ERP you can integrate EH&S DG with many reactions and all of them are "automatic" (can not create order, can create order but can not go on etc.)

thank you for your fast reaction and my apologies for being so generic.
The SALES team raised the issue that no action should be taken on SAP ERP side that gives trouble to the CRM system.
Eg: an order is created in CRM, this order gets replicated in the ERP. Now the order is processed in ERP with DG checks and the DG master is either not created or not released. This could trigger a stop of the order process in ERP, which doesn“t get replicated to the CRM system.
So the SALES team has the issue that it might be that ONE order is processed differently in CRM and ERP.
Is this description better to understand?

by the use of a CRM and an ERP system you will not only may be have issues/problems in DG but somebody need to take care regarding MSDS generation, GLM Labels etc. in the SAP ERP System (that means people are really maintaining data in SAP EH&S (ERP system); and if SAP ERP is integrated with GTS (and you have activated blocks) more issues will come up. I am not aware of any SAP standard solution to integrate CRM <=> ERP and you are right the orders are replicated (CRM => ERP) etc. I do not know any Standard SAP solution regarding topic in ERP backwards to CRM (feedback). One potential solution might be:
If we talk about DG: normally you can have different SAP SD/EH&S set up. In most cases companies have trend not to allow a transport with something which is not allowed. in SAP SD you can block the order because of DG issues and you could use "incomplete log" to inform the suer about the issue. In theory you can (to my knowledge) try not only to generate an entry in "incomplete log" but to generate eMails etc. The issue comes up that in SAP ERP you have "lost" connection to the CRM origin (which sales person is responsible for the sales order in CRM); as I have not expericen with CRM: one potential solution could be that during the generation of the "incomplete log" there is an RFC call backwards to CRM which try to "signale" in CRM that a "block" occured. I have never heard about such a landspace but it seems feasible. This "backward" integration could be done as will with GTS etc. blocks using the same approach and at the same time may be you could start within SAP SD workflows to responsible EH&S persons whicih could take care the DG, MSDS etc. issue
