creating PDF documents on WWI server - how to use the internal features of word 2010

Good afternoon all,

On our sandbox system, we have a working WWI server (windows server 2008 r2).

When generating the final SDS, we want to use the internal features of word 2010 to generate the PDF document.

We are capable of creating PS documents, using the installed vertual PS printer.

Any suggestions on what we have to check/change in custo or on the server so we can create the PDF documents instead of PS documents?

We have checked the wwi cookbook and the note related to PDF generation of documents, which states this functionality should work automatically.

All input is most welcome.

PS: you need to makle sure that any WWI server has proper installation so that the "conversion" of "PS" file to "PDF" file is possible

I assume that you would like to generate e.g. SDS as pdf to be distributed than per eMail? What does "generate" mean? You ant to store pdf result in data base or use it only "temporarily" during dsitrbution/dispatch of SDS? As mentioned before: it wil only work if you have prepared the necesarry software on WWI server. e.g. check may be as well http://scn.sap.com/thread/1946293
