Creating a Template From Project (in PPM)

Does anyone know if its possible to create a template from a project in PPM?  We have created a “temp project” in PPM that has the tasklist, roles, and predecessors all identified and linked.  We’d like to know if this project’s tasklist can be the new template for all future projects.

Hi Fred,

This is very much possible in PPM. Once you have created the project, go to 'Project Management templates' in 'Portfolio & Project administration' and create an template by selecting the template type as 'Project' & use the project number as reference for creating the template.

And to use this new template while creating the projects, you have to release the template i.e. Project definition should be released.
