Hello PPM colleagues,
I would like some help to assign responsible resource and role inside a portfolio item (decision point), eg:
There are no entries already inserted in PPM customizing regarding HR or HCM integration nor employess or business partner. I already discussed this point with HCM-HR consultant in order to map what was customized in his side (HR HCM module) in order to PPM use for example employees or business partners (BP) already inserted in the system but he also do not know this entry point on the PPM side.
So What I would like to do for now is to have some customer employees inserted in PPM but I don´t know where is the entry point for this inside PPM customizing. I already have some users created by basis colleagues for some project key users start to use the PPM to test.(but not as entry point for HR HCM, they just log in inside PPM in Business Client and use the system)
Bellow the IMG for this HR HCM part inside PPM Portfolio and Project management path in SPRO (customizing), does anyone could help me and point in which entry point from customizing to be set?
Thanks,
Fábio Pettian

The fields "Responsible Role"/"Responsible Resource" are not valid for the Decision Point of an Item.
The fields are not fetching the role/resource from the assigned Project Management Project. As the fields are not relevant for the Decision Point of an Item you can hide them (RESPONSIBLE_NAME, RESPONSIBLE_ROLE) in the field-configuration for the object type EPO.
(Spro > SAP Portfolio and Project Management > Portfolio Management > Global Customizing > Global Field Settings > Define Custom Field Configuration)
The fields "Responsible Role" and "Responsible Resource" are only relevant for the decision point of an initiative. The fields "Responsible Role"/"Responsible Resource" of a Decision Point in an Initiative are fetching the roles/resources from the corresponding initiative.

Dear Fabio,
It´s not possible to define a responsible role/responsible resource in a Decision Point of an Item.
The resp. role/resp. resource can be selected in a Decision Point of an Initiative because within the Initiative it´s possible to create a role which can be staffed. Then this role/resource can be selected in the Decision Point of the Initiative.
Best regards,
Judith
