Dear All,
I have a question regarding report generation in the transaction CG02. I have a report template with some parameter symbols. So if I generate a report using the option Report from template an additional pop-up window appears, where I can select required parameters. All data are displayed ok, but such a report is not saved in the Report Management. However using Create Report I can only set some parameter values only when the report is already generated. How can I save such modified raport in the Report Management then (after leaving the specification all data are lost)?
Thanks for your help,
Anna

Hello,
During report generation there are two stages. Stage 1 (Report body creation), during which system tranfers all speciification symbols and Stage 2 - (Final Report creation), during which system transfers all parameter (logistic) symbols.
When you choose the option " Create repot from template" system accesses the data and displays a report which is temporary in nature and will not be stored in Report Management . When you use fhe option "Create Report" System creates a report for which it accesses WWI Server (In the previous case no running WWI Server is needed).
As far as my knowledge goes It is not possible to store parameter information when you create Report body. if the data is non changeable information then you can declare tables for report symbols and field names as default values so that system picks them up for report.
Thanks

Hello Jayakumar,
Thank you for your answer. Unfortunately my data are changeable....so it seems, that such modified reports cannot be saved in the Report Management....

Anna
