Hello SAP Community,
I am encountering an issue with the "Manage Incidents" app. When I try to add an injured person in the "People" tab, the "Create" button is greyed out and I am unable to proceed with adding the injured person details. This issue arises even when I add the injured person at the time of reporting the incident using the "Report Incident" app.
Has anyone else faced this issue? How can I activate the "Create" button in the "People" tab to add an injured person? Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @phaneendra_k ,
the "Create" button is greyed out due to lack of authorizations for creation of new Business Partners in S/4HANA. Of course, this behavior may be different, if you have enhancements in your system. If it was enabled, you would be able to create a new Business Partner record, which would then be linked to your incident record as an Injured Person (or any other role you choose).
You can also simply type the name of the person in the fields on the screen.
Furthermore, if you want to add a new Injured Person, you have to use the "Add" button just above the list of Involved People.
Best regards,
Georgi

However i am able to add Injured person from Manage Incidents > People Tab as per below SC
But My issue is like I have added Injured Person(Unknown Person test - Not a Employee/Not in HR Data) from Report Incident screen & Sent the incident to Responsible person.(Attached Below SC)
Now From manage Incident Tile > People Tab i am unable to add extra details like Address,Phone No,Date of birth of the same person(Create Button is Greyed Out)
Can you please help me on this to get the create button active if any Specific Authorizations/ Configuration Required
Thanks in Advance

Phaneendra
Hi @phaneendra_k,
this is the exact behavior, which is caused by missing authorizations. You can check the following information in the help portal:
SAP Business Partner - Authorization Management
You need to request additional authorizations to be able to create BP master data. The necessary objects are described in details in the link above. SAP also delivers standard template roles for this, which your team should be aware of. If you need additional information, you can also check the multiple topics in the SAP Community about Business Partner authorizations.
Best regards,
Georgi
