cProjects Severities Alerts

Hello experts,

Does anyone know how to disable cProjects Severities Alerts?

I think the only way to customize them is through a BADI implementation, but is there a way through customizing to completely disable these alerts without the BADI?

Hi Neil, I was actually wanting to keep the alerts, but I just don´t want the email sent.

Is this possible??

In the configuration entry

Collaboration Projects

--> Evaluations

--> --> Define Severity

Every entry in this configuration table has the following fields:

Severity

Severity Description

Alert Category Evaluation

Alert Category Manual

Alert Category Aggregated

Not Manually

Icon

Icon name

Icon URL

As long as nothing is selected in Alert Category Evaluation, Alert Category Manual, and Alert Category Aggregated, emails will not be sent out when these alerts/threshold values are triggered.

At least this is my understanding. We have been using the alerts for a year now and actually want to turn on emails for some of them so I have been working on this piece recently.

Wendy hat absolutely right, the three fields should only be set, if you want to send out the alert. The serverity itself is not affected with the three fields. See F1 help on the fields too.

Thanks Niel and Wendy, that solution worked perfectly...I just left the field blank and the emails aren´t sent anymore...thanks a million!

Hi Fernando,

If you don't customize any severity alert in customizing then, they will be disabled in the projects.
