Cprojects object link to WBS (PS) not working.

Hi,

We are facing an error while adding Object link to WBS element (PS) using the link Project Management ----Structure ----object link--

group - WBS element (PS)

Link to - WBS element (PS)

WBS element - No item displayed .

getting error message "Communication error with source system of Object tyepe WBS element (PS)  occured.

Appreciate your response to resolve this issue...

we have PPM 5.0 and ehp5

Hi Matt,

check the customizing of the object link, maintain the destination to your ERP system and ensure that this is working in SM59.

Hi Thorsten,

Thank you . Now the link is working but there is no items displayed in Cprojects tab in CJ20N T.code.There should be link from Cproject tab of CJ20N to the Cprojects.

please advice ..how to go about to resolve this.

Hi Matt,

if I understand you correctly, you create the object link manually and on the STRUCTURE tab in cPro, not via the accounting tab. Right?

Such object links are not visible in CJ20N. CJ20N will only show the links from cProjects accounting integration (you either create the WBS automatically or link it manually on the accounting tab). But that is a different customizing in cProjects.
