cProjects object link to RCM object

Hi all!

In cProjects objects (project, phase etc.) on object link tab, i need to create object link to RCM (Record and Case Management) record. How can i do this? There are no object type like RCM on list.

Can anybody help on this?

P.S. Systems are located at different servers: 1 - with cProjects; 2 - with RCM

Hi Alexei,

In the object links tab in the dropdown you will find only those objects which are maintained in backend(system) settings.

If you would like to create a new object type like RCM you need to create it in customizing settings under

SPRO>SAP Portfolio and Project Management>Project management>Connection to external systems>Object Links in SAP systems

To create Object Link to remote system with RCM i need to use RFC Destination? I'm on the right way?

Hi Alexei,

Yes,while creating the object you need to enter a destination system or an RFC destion and a web service alias.

It gives how to integrate a pushbutton to navigate to a record..the function module can be calld in RFC also so this should work for you.
