cProjects 4.0 integration with other SAP componets (ECC 6.0)

Hi,

I am looking for cProjects 4.0 integration with the other SAP modules - SD, MM etc. Can someone please suggest some document/information?

How is a cProjects ID linked to a sales order? Which one ought to come first - the cProject ID or the sales order? And is there any flexiility?

Hi,

cProjects 4.0 can be integrated with SAP PS through multilevel controlling feature. By doing this, we can get a corresponding PS project. Also you can integrate with SAP CO by creating an internal order. This is acheived through accounting integration. By using object links feature cProjects 4.0 project can refer to a sales order, R/3 document, R/3 plant material, R/3 WBS element etc. We can also integrate with SAP DMS. Within cProjects 4.0 you can create Document info record and upload documents into it and that gets reflected in SAP DMS. Other integration scenarios: By using SAP Portal drive, cProjects 4.0 can be integrated with Windows file explorer. Also you can initiate a cFolders collaboration from within cProjects 4.0

I need to know which integration we have between cProjects 3.1 and SAP components (e.g. do we have accounting integration with PS and CO?).

And which integration we have between cProjects 4.0 and SAP components.

Using object links can I link one cProjects ID to more than one sales order?

Hi Bittu,

If you just want to link sales orders, you can do it at multiple times for a cProject ID. You can also link sales orders in different systems, but in such case, you need a different object link type, as the target system difinition of object link type is different.

For some so called Integration (not a link only) functionality, the program should create the object link automatically during process.

If you could please share the document you said you would with regard to cProjects id getting linked to multiple sales order. Would this be possible when CO is not in scope?
