Hello experts,
I have done some research but couldn't find an answer yet. Is there a way in cProjects :
Based on Location:
1. To restrict a resource the access of a project based on the location field?
2. If need be I should still have the capability of giving the resource access to other locations if he is working on other locations projects.
Restricted Project:
1. Can I restrict access to a project or create so called Black ops projects that do not pop up in the search hit list and have access only to a set of people? How?
Thanks for your time in advance,
N K

I've had similar requirements in past projects and unfortunately both required enhancements. For location based authorization we had to create a custom authorization object which was assigned to user roles. For "black-ops" projects we had a "confidential" check box on the project and only users with the "confidential projects" role was allowed access, again through a custom authorization object.
Are you using Portfolio Management (RPM)? If yes, have you considered defining your top level buckets by location and assigning ACL authorizations which will be inherited to the portfolio item and sycnhronized with cProjects (using DFM)?
