Hello All,
We are implementing mysap PLM ( cproject Suite 4.0 ), CRM 4.0 ( BBP CRM SP9 SIE SP4. As such the business process of cProject is not based on CRM so planning to install independantly. We are having 4.7 SAP R/3 system.
As you all are aware, cProject can not be replicated in SAP Project system with SAP R/3 version less than ERP 2005. The other option SAP provides that "Replication of CRM project in SAP R/3 Project system ( Version above 4.6C), which creates a bit confusion.
If we need to go for second option, which steps / prerequisite we need to follow? Can we use the functionality of CRM project though there is no business link?
Your inputs are highly appreciated...

Hello Zhenbo
Thanks for your reply..
Well, but what you have said about cproject 4.0 to R/3 Project system is possible for ERP 2005 only ( as Release note says ). Can it be possible for 4.7?
Thanks

Hi Prashant,
The replication (co-integration) of cProject 4.0 does not base on the CRM anymore. The cProject4.0 use the RFC call the R/3 system, where the PS BAPI method will be called, and the R/3 project is created and assigned to the cProject elements. I find this process is more easy and clealy than the cproject 3.1, where the middelware of CRM has to used for the replication.
What do you mean CRM project? Do your mean perhaps the CRM maketing plan, which is still use CRM Middelware for the replication.
Kind regards!
Zhenbo
