Hello Forum,
In a particular client scenario, we are exploring for a standard method od integrating from one cPr system to multiple CO scenario in different Fi Co system.
we have successfully completed the Controlling scenario for one cPr system and one FI CO system.
the problem is that in the accounting integration settings, for the IO controlling scenario,we can specify one RFC only.As a result the data transfer occurs to that system only.
if i have project A,B,C and would like to connect project A to System 1 FICO Internal order 1,project B to System 2 FICO Internal order 2....What is that i can use from the std settings to achieve this scenario.
it would be of great help to prevent heavy customizations.
Thank you all in advance.
regards,
Amit

Hi Amit, Matthias,
I'm afraid that's something that is not possible to achieve without heavy modifications, as it would require that for the individual accounting scearios a specific CO/FI back-end be maintained.
Well, maybe it wouldn't be too hard a task to accomplish this, once the customizing has been provided. One would just have to guarantee that for the given scenario the correct RFC-destination be pulled from the new customizing, replacing the standard destination.
However, I really don't know if this is feasable... but maybe it provides a starting point.
Best regards,
Thomas

Hi Thomas,
Thanks for your feedback.
I spent more time this afternoon on this, and I made a succesfull test by updating the RFC parameters during replication.
In Class CL_DPR_FIN_GECCO_REPOSITORY, method GET_INSTANCE_BUT_NEW, it's possible to modify irr_instance and table st_repository with the wished RFC destination via an enhancement. I made a quick test to change the destination from our dev system to the test one. The project was well created.
Of course, this does not ensure at 100% all the accouting integration functionalities, but it's a good start.

Hello Forum,
I am closing this thread on account of non existence of standard methods to solve the problem. we have designed a workaround to achieve the same by using the business rule logic available in SAP XI. the idea is to connect all the CO systems to CPR or RPM through XI. the RFC will point to virtual destination. the rule engine based on the attributes passed will allow data transfer to the target Co system and back.
this is an idea , i have put this to my techincal resource and await its realization.
enjoy SAP
Thanks and Regards,

Hi Amit,
We are also investigating the topic, without any solution yet. Still no idea on your side?
I will keep you posted if we find something.
