Costs not getting updated in PPM item financials

Dear experts need your help.

We have scenario PPM item -->PPM project-->PS project.

All object linking settings are completed and we can see costs getting reflected at accounting tab of ppm project.

However issue is when we are trying rpm fin02 or int planning program to roll up costs to item then costs are not showing up on item fin views.

We observed below 

1. Program output shows no link exists message for ppm item project management 

2. Ps project is not automatically assigned in object links

Later once we manually assigns ps project in object links and execute program costs reflect on item fin views correctly.

We are on S4 2021version.

Please suggest how we can automatically assign ps project in above scenario or any additional settings required in global fields or something
