Component Consumption for Alternate Material while it is maintened in Material maintenance in SAP ME

Hi Expert,

I have put my alternate material in material maintenance. To retrieving and show all the alternate material in a GUI, is working fine. But the issue is coming while doing the component consumption for the alternate material.

In the above scenario - The alternate material is only configured in Material maintenance activity

Note* - If the same alternate material is maintained in BOM maintenance the component consumption is working fine.

Any specific configuration need to be setup for this scenario? Please advice
