If we have only one company. Which have no branch. Is it still required to create company or we only have to create company code?

Hello Rashid,

Even if your company has no branches, you still need to create a company and a company code.

The newly created company will act as an entity, and the company code represents the operational unit for reporting, transactions etc.

Hi Rashid,

If you have only one company and no branches, you only need to create a company code. A company code is a unique identifier for a legal entity within SAP. It is used to track financial transactions and other data for that entity.
