CNMASSSTATUS. User Status are not made.

When we use the CNMASSSTATUS to change a User Status, it allows us to choose the User Status Profile and also Select User Status on the initial selection screen, but when we run to make the change effective, the changes are not made, even though they are have correctly selected both the User Status Profile and the User Status.
We have to go to CJ20N and change the Status Profile in this transaction. Once this change is made, when executing the CNMASSSTATUS again, the user status change occurs.
Does anyone know why this is due and what is the possible solution for the changes to become effective using only the CNMASSSTATUS?

Transaction CNMASSSTATUS is not intended for any Status Profile changes, you have the field on selection criteria just for the purpose to identify the User Status itself. That is because the User Status exist only in the context of specific User Status Profile.

Different WBS in the same project can manage different User Status Profiles, but changing them with existing data can lead to inconsistencies in the JEST table, so do not do it without a further analysis.

Try making the User Status Profile change first and save, then make the User Status changes.
