Cloud - Custom fields for filtering project by Project role

Dear SAP,

We want to add field/s in the App “Project Control – Professional Services projects” in Public Cloud Starter System, for:

1. Filtering by different partners roles than Project Manager, like Project Accountant
2. In the initial screen we want to show the names of other Partners, like Project Accountant but for other roles.

We manage to add the fields but they do not trigger any information and for filtering, not showing appropiatte search help

We have some questions:

Is I_EnterpriseProjectTeamMember the appropriate CDS for that? (cannot choose it)

Do we need to create a Custom CDS to be able to filter by that fields?

Do we need to add also custom logic for this filter?

Thank you for the details provided.

You seeem to be adding the custom fields to a CDS view.

In this blog https://blogs.sap.com/2022/03/24/adding-custom-fields-using-key-user-extensibility-for-asset-managem... you can see how to add a custom field to an app. If you follow this guide but instead for the app “Project Control – Professional Services projects”. The application area isn't relevant but the steps are -- Section 'Use Case #2 – Adding a Custom field to the Create Maintenance Request App'.

In the App Project Control app you have to use the Adapt UI option and add the custom field to the layout of the app.

Hi,

We've already review all the points mention in your answer and we re-check them, and the problem is that we cannot add those fields with the information about the project roles ( partners id and names) that we need to show and filter.

We want to use this tile to replace S/4 report RPARSHOW (t-code CNPAR) where you can filter by partner function and partner. Is there any report available to projects by partner role and partner?.

At the moment couldn't find that, also couldn't find how to use those fields (standard fields for this)
