Clarification on Client Dependency of Solution Manager–Based Custom Code Management

Hi SAP,

Could you please confirm whether Solution Manager–based Custom Code Management (CCLM) is client-dependent or client-independent?

We have multiple clients in our production system, and CCLM is currently enabled for client 000.
Do we also need to activate CCLM in all other production clients?

Dear Customer,

In Solution Manager–based Custom Code Management (CCLM), the custom code objects themselves are client-independent, whereas the data maintained or collected is client-dependent.

Since you mentioned that CCLM is already activated in client 000, there is no need to activate it again in other production clients unless you specifically require client-specific data collection or analysis.
