Checking UPC codes in SAP

Currently I'm checking UPC bar codes in SAP using the ZSD_UPC_INFO transaction code. I take the paper UPC bar code layout and read it using a POS scanner. This populates the data associated with this UPC for verification.

My question? Is there a way I can eliminate printing the paper layout? Can I upload the bar code into SAP and check them through automation?

2. And you can not directly feed the UPC code,it has to be converted into a the required data type and can be stored as per your request on an article or in a custom table with few reference.
