CG54 Report Information System (No Data found) when searching with Material Number

Hello Experts,

I am trying to view reports using transaction CG54. When I am trying to view report using specification number it works. But when I use the material number it says no data found. I see that Material is assigned to specification.

Please help.

Hi dheerajkakumanu,

If you enter that material in CG02 - do you find the SUBID for which reports were created?

If yes - what happens if you use the Menu to display the reports from CG02 as a basis?

Ensure that you don't have any other search criteria entered (GenVars, Languages etc) when running CG54...

Another idea could be, that for some reason the MATMAS object is not set at the GenVar - but I'm not 100% sure if that would prevent it from displaying.

Hello

Mark has highlighted the most important part. To use the "material number" option in CG54/CG50: your generation variant MUST have the "MATMASTER" assignment.. This is a " must".

PAY attention.... if you generation variant does not have this but you still have e.g. released or historical WWI reports (or Inbounds): YOU HAVE A PROBLEM as because even if you correct the "Gen. Variant": you still will not ! find the report in CG54/CG50 by using a "material number"

MORE strange is: if you find the report using a "spec key" and then "toggle" to the "Material Master" display option... the "report" might be invisible !
