CG33 Import error

Our business is Exporting specification from CG02. Importing same specification file at CG33. So when I import file CG33 get error saying "Could not locate correct identifiers Message C$535".

I checked file @ AL11 but in the import file I can see the value what it is missing in error. See attachment for your information. Do you have any idea what is this error and how to resolve it?

Diagnosis

The system was unable to locate a correct identifier.

System Response

The system cannot transfer the specification.

Procedure

Check the transfer file and notify the person responsible. If possible, correct the file.

Hello Eric

I am guessing this issue will arise if system does't support the  search of formatted identifiers during import . Try Again by changing the value of filed search spec.type with "1" (Search through specification key) in parameter tab in CG33 . I believe earlier you maintain "2" (Search through identifier) here . Refer the OSS Note :1317589 .

I made new exchange profile setting for importing specification.

go to IMG -> Environment, Health & Safety -> Basic Data and Tools -> Tools -> Import and Export ->

-> Basic Settings for Import and Export -> Specify Exchange Profiles -> add new profile .

copy the 'standard' exchange profile to new one ( ex. IMPORT ) and then open the new exchange prof.

, and change the attribute of "Search spec. type "  to '1'  ( "2" ->"1")

whenever importing specification , use the new exchange profile.

Hi Eric,

check your import parameters. The message means that the system cannot find a spec with the given NAM PROD or this particular NAM PROD is not unique. Since you have the specification key, try the import again with the setting for Search spec. type set to either 1 or 3.
