Hi experts

I am using cg12 for export phrases . But it creates # for some some special characters. We Ring cg31 for import. Any idea how to fix this.

Kind regards

Jay

Hello

these strange characters can show up if you do the export "wrong".

BUT we know other reasons as well. Some months ago we have realized an issue in "import". For that SAP has provided a fix (i belive character 76 or so was deleted durign the import)

I assume: you use a "UNIX" OS for your SAP system? Please decribe the steps as donw for the export; there is (if i remember correct) as well a "environmental parameter"for export; you must make sure to use "UNICODE" option
