Hi Friends
I am sending a notification to a vendor through cFolders.
However the vendor is unable to open cfolders through the URL sent automatically in the email.
The same link can be opened if the supplier accesses it within our company intranet.
can someone suggest what can be done for this problem.
regards
Kedar

Hi Deepak,
You need to open the port on internet.
Consult your basis admin for details.

Hi Kedar,
in the firewall configuration of your company there might be a change of the name of the server (internally http://int_serv.corp/, externally http://mycompany.com/...). As the cFolders Server has no mechanism to find out the new external name of the application automatically, you have to enter the external name manually in the mentioned section.
Best regards,
Martin

You can use reverse proxy. Supply an address with https for the cFolders and the vendor would be able to access the cFolders even if you have installed firewall.

Hey Ananth
Thanks for that INfo.
I will try to maintain the cFolders URL under Network as https://..
Will that solve this problem?
Also Is there any other setting?
I didn't understand the meaning of reverse proxy.
pls. let me know
regards
Kedar
