cFolders email notification issue

Hi Folks,

Having a problem with email notifications on cFolders 4.5. This is in our test systems, so the actual email is not sent out. However, I can go into transaction SOST and check the email notification (without actually sending it out).

The issue is, when I go into network administration and click the test e-mail button I see the generated email in SOST. I also see an email if I create a notification manually (using the notifications button on a folder or document) and send it to myself. If I send it to somebody else I do not see anything in SOST. I did the obvious checks such as checking for an email address in the user profile. I also gave the recepient SAP_ALL to eliminate any authorization issues.

Appreciate any thoughts or ideas on why I can't send a notification to somebody else.

HI ,

Before sending the notification, please check below setting.

1. Check cfolder front end, whether you have maintained email id or not?

2. Check in R/3 system using SU01 tcode , whether you have maintained email id or not?

3. Go to t-code SCOT and double click on SMTP and check your SMTP connections.

Hi,

Please, check that the receivers settings (in the Settings options in cFolders) are set so that they have enabled the e-mail receipt.
