Hi All,
How to change the status of the incident/accident log entry in cbih82.
Kindly elaborate. Immediate replies plz.

Hi hari,
Cbih82 - open the incident.
Initially system will be maintaining the status as CREATED, after saving the incident.
Menu in the top - incident/accident log - status switch - request release
This time status turns into IN PROCESS (this will be used to change the status from created to in process only)
Later on you have to play with the
Incident/accident log - status switch - switch to next status
Here onwards the status changes from in process to other statuses maintained as in configuration.
If you want to come back to the status IN PROCESS, you can use
Incident/accident log -status switch - reset to initial status
By using this, you can come back to the status IN PROCESS (not CREATED).
You have to keep in mind - once the incident/accident reached to status CLOSED, not possible to change the status anymore.
