Can we connect xMII to PLC without OPC Server

Hello,

Can we connect xMII to PLC (in this case PLC is OPC compliant) without the OPC Serverin between?

If so, which is the xMII connector that can be used to pull data directly from PLC?

If this OPC compliant PLC truly acts as an OPC server, then the xMII OPC-DA UDS (on Marketplace) would be needed to communicate with it, but I have my doubts.

Direct PLC communication provides minimal value, only providing live values, and I would imagine that you will need an OPC server in conjunction with the OPC UDS (which acts as the OPC client) in order to communicate with the device.
