Can't write tags SAP MII and SAP PCo using Modbus

394

Hello,

I am trying to use SAP PCo Modbus connection to Simatic S7 1200 and write to a single tag. I defined my tag in SAP PCo in Input register (300001.00) and tags in TIA portal are defined as I10.0. When I try to run test query for TagStore I got this message: [Tag]: Exception [TargetInvocationException] - Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation.

Tag reading works fine.

I also tried the same way using Kepware and in this scenario, I am able to write tags normally.

Anybody who had the same issue?

Thanks.

Jakub

PS: Reason using only Modbus is simply for testing.

Are you using MII to write the tag or PCo ?

If its MII have you checked the "Writable" box in the connection tab of the data server ?

Thanks

Hello,

thanks for your question. I am using Data connector to SAP PCo (writable). I am calling SAP PCo TagStore query from Workbench.

Sorry for the delay , have you tested reading and writing the modbus address using the test tool inside PCo?
