Calculate cost in PPM Project

Hi,

I am trying to see cost in Accounting tab in PPM project but when I am clicking the "Calculate" button I cannot see the costing table. The page is blank.

I have not assigned the Activity type and cost element to the Cost/Revenue rates in below customization.

Is that the reason? I guess at least I should be able to see plan cost for Project.

Thanks for your reply. I have maintained the costing based on tasks or based on roles and also assigned cost/revenue rates to it. But still I cannot see the costing calculation.

I have not assigned the Activity type and cost element to the Cost/Revenue rates in Customization of "the Activity type and cost element to the Cost/Revenue rates" in FINR3_CPROJECTS_CUST". Is it also necessary to maintain this config?

Hi,

Depending on whether you want to perform costing based on tasks or based on roles, you assign a cost/revenue rate to the tasks or the roles or resources for which you want to perform costing.
