Hi experts,
I'm having this strange behavior in SAP ME. Every time I release a production Order from ERP, an idoc is generated to ME to create a shop order. What is strange is that every time the BOM version is incremented by 1. I didn't change nothing in the BOM but on the other hand I have BOM with version A23. Is there some parameters to setup to stop the increment?
thanks a lot for your support

HI, Vlad thaks for the response.
I Found this parameters but which impact have? Just the version or other?. I'm looking for documentation about this option.
Thanks
Andrea

Hi Andrea,
quoting SAP "You can disable the mapping of the production order BOM and routing in SAP ME by setting the Ignore BOM Update and Ignore Routing Update rules to true in System Rule Maintenance (see ERP Integration Rules). When set to true, each setting causes the production order download to SAP ME to look for an existing BOM or routing by name only (not its contents). This is effective if the corresponding Master BOM or routing has been enhanced in SAP ME beyond what is provided in the SAP ERP production order integration."

In case you have a MTS production with any BOM variance that could occur in your production order, that is the setting you are looking for. Opposite case for MTO where each time you will create a new BOM.
If your requirement is to have an hybrid scenario, with an incremental version exclusively for a change managed in the PO before the distribution, I would suggest to enhance at XSLT level leaving FALSE as system rule.
Kind regards,
Vlad
Hi Andrea,
on System Rule Maintenance try to change "Ignore BOM Update" to TRUE.
Kind regards,
Vlad
