BI content activation for analytics in EHSM

Friends,

I try to activate the BI content for EHSM and i get the following error.

Object 0CA_POC (InfoArea) could not be collected for object  ()

Message no. RSO296

Diagnosis

You have collected objects in the BI Metadata Repository. Associated objects for object  of type  have also been collected. Object 0CA_POC of type InfoArea was among these objects.

However, this object 0CA_POC of type InfoArea is not available in the metadata repository.

System Response

Object 0CA_POC of type InfoArea is ignored in further collections. The links for object  of type  are incomplete. This may result in you not being able to activate this object.

Procedure

If this error occurs while you are installing BI Content, an error may have occurred during the delivery. Inform SAP. In all other cases, check that the object has not been deleted by another user during collection, for example.

Hi Chintapalli,

I guess, you had already activated BI Object for EHSM ,Ensure, your object is activated or not for that

run below transaction and confirm the same.

Which version are you using? Is it EHSM 3.0 or EHSM 4.0 ?

Logon to the respective system

Run transaction 'RSA1'

Go to "modelling" -> "Info Objects"

Find Info Area "0CA_POC"

Navigate through "0CA_POC_CHA01" -> "0POC_KPI_TY"

GO to Tab "Attributes"

Select row for info Object "0POC_KPI_CT" and change the  attribute type property to "Navigation Attibute" - Save and Activate

Check and update.

I am using EHSM 3.0 and could not find Info Area 0CA_POC in RSA1.

Hi Chandrasekhar,

That Means Process observer using content package 0CA_POC in the BI still not activate. It should be activate in your local system.

For this You need put on your hand in BI System. Check it out here 1694446 - BI Content Activation and RDA enablement.

My recommendation is sit with your BI  team and explain your requirement to them. Basically, This is not our SAP- EHS- Consultant job. Tell your requirement and they will help and work it out.

You could understand the process and availability function in EHSM and BI.

Example

• How many processes are closed or overdue, and how long does a process take on average (in days)?
• How efficient is the process?
• When analyzing a specific type of process, how many processes have been created and closed over a specified time period?
• What is the spread of closed processes across a range of processing times?
• How much time is spent on a specific step of the process?

Focus on availability function and future on BI Content Extension.
