BCV Time-out

Hello everyone!

I'm experimenting with the BCV Charts and added some new Search Connectors based on BAPIs. The extraction is quite complex and - since we have a lot of projects - sometimes takes more time then the sidepanel is willing to give. So I often get a time-out for the chart. All other charts are displayed. So just mine fails.

Is there a possibility to set the seconds before the time-out to more then 10? If so - where?

Hello Nina,

it can be achieved by using this IMG-path:

Cross-Application Components -> Processes and Tools for Enterprise Applications -> Business Context Viewer -> Query Management -> Maintain Query Dispatcher

Here you can enter the "Expiry Duration". I recommend reading the IMG activity documentation of this IMG-entry also.
