Batch characteristic update in DMC

Hi Team,

While doing Good receipt in DMC batch characteristic update option is disabled.

Please guide us if there any additional Config or Option to enable this functionality.batch-charateristic-update.png

Hi Neha,

I checked internally and learned that these are special batch characteristics which have a prefix ”LOBM” in their characteristic names, therefore they are read-only in DM.

Can you please guide with what type characteristics and Prefix supports in SAP DM for edit/update the values during Good receipt in SAP DM

As far as I understand, LOBM is the only restriction.

What exactly do you mean by "update option is disabled"? In your screenshot, I can see it's enabled.

Hi Manoel,

Yes, I can see the Batch Characteristics during Good receipt in DMC, but unable to update the values there, its grey out

and all the required pre-requisites as mentioned in provided help portal is done.
