bapi_document_checkoutview2 not fetching Document via SAP MII15.1

Hello Experts,

i am using a JCO connection to call bapi_document_checkoutview2 from SAP MII BLS Transaction in version 15.1

Neither Transaction gives any error nor it fetches the document from ECC.

I request your kind help on the same.

If you do some googling you will find a lot of older threads discussing DMS integration with MII. Below is a thread with the solution I found but your milage will depend on your own DMS configuration. Your other option is to get the path or url of the document on your DMS server and get it using ftp or http but that depends on your systems configuration.
