BAPI_BUS1077_CHANGE _ Adding Material to Substance

Dear Experts,
I'm facing an issue while updating the material to existing substance (CG02) through BAPI.
I'm able to do with the help of Transaction code but the same try to achieve by using BAPI getting an error "Data record to be changed does not exist: MATJOIN:*********" and "Error occurred during processing" .
I tried my best to achieve this but couldn't get succeed,
can any one faced this issue? , please help me on this..

Hello

SAP has shipped examples of correct use of the "BAPIs" They are discussed often here.

PLease check the examples,. Keep in mind: any user "blocking" the spec can "hinder" the insert/update/deletee of material assignments
