Automatic assignment in SAP MRS based on demand priority

hi

I have maintained priority as very high in the pm orders (demands) for SAP MRS

I notice that , even if i have maintained very high priority , the scheduling is still being done on date basis (first come first serve).

1)I want the automatic scheduler /optimizer to schedule the high priority orders before the others.

2)In case there are already assigned , earlier assignments are to be removed and the high priority ones are to be created

Hi Buddy,

Automatic assignment will work first come first serve if you have activated on save.

Else you will need to use the optimizer and re-schedule all orders again, which will delete existing assignments and create it new.

I would recommend to use optimizer in this case, you can even schedule it on hourly basis if needed.
