Automatic Activity creation not happening when an issue is created

I am trying to create an issue in CPM (Project issues and change management) but automatic activity creation is not happening. Kindly help me on this.

Automatic creation of activities come from the activity templates in configuration. The activity names come from the template.

Hello Ken,

The notes says about how to add the activities manually, but we are expecting an automatic Parent activity creation(with description same as issue description) when an issue is saved. but this is not happening.
