Authorizations Management in EHSM

Hi Experts,

Can someone tell me what authorizations there are in EHSM and how they "work" ? Is there a list of authorization objects and their purpose ?

We have the following business scenario :

  • An employee (a team leader for example) sees an event (accident) and reports it in EHSM Incident Management. He needs to report basic information, people involved and eventually the injuries.

This employee must not be able to enter data concerning the Investigation.

  • Once the employee has sent the event to the EH&S Expert, the latter has access to all the event (basic information, people, investigation, etc).

Once the event has been sent to the "next level" (i.e to the Expert), is it possible to :

  • allow the reporter to access and change basic information and people ?
  • not allow the reporter to access and change basic information and people ?

Thank you very much for your help !

Regards,

Philippe

Hi Philippe

In Incident management , there is 3 important process ,

1) Incident recording

Any body in the organisation can report the incident or Near miss or safety Observation.

Once incident is recorded and sent to Incident Manager(Plant Safety Head) . He will review the incident he will start the Incident processing.

Once Incident was forwarded the concern reporting user haven't editing privilege , because if any data additions will be there , Incident manager will edit if necessary after completion of data collection

2) Incident Processing

Incident Manager may allocate this to his team Member for Processing or himself may process

In the part of Processing , he will collect the data from Witness of particular Incident , Reporting Manager of Injured person ,

This data collection can be done through sending online form and Offline forms(e-mails).

after collecting the data regarding incident , He will assess the if any environmental impact is there due to incident and any Financial Impact (ex;-Asset Damage, equipment Damage, medical expenses of injured employee , production loss due to incident).

If it is reportable Incident , Send preliminary report to Reporting authorities.

Risk assessment will be done based the on the Incident with respective assets, people, environment, reputation.

After concluded all the above issues , he will initiate Incident Investigation.

3) Incident Investigation.

In incident investigation  they will gather the information from employees  and they will define the Measures or Tasks ( Technical , organisational ,personal) , and send the notifications to concern department like plant maintenance and HR  and once notification is complied by concern dept , will check and close the tasks.

After completion of Incident investigation , A details report to be sent to Reporting authority (if it is Re portable).
